Jeff Boyer holds a Master’s Degree in
Education and was a public educator for 15 successful years. Yet, his fishing
passion led him into a fulltime fishing career in 1985, when he qualified for
his first of three Bassmaster Classics. (His last Classic appearance was 2004
in Charlotte, NC.) . In addition to his tournament success, Jeff’s career
includes many roles (guide, writer, magazine editor, television host,
photographer, consultant), but his favorite is seminar speaker and instructor.
Jeff is especially known for his expertise with
marine electronics. Having been with Lowrance since 1983, SONAR and GPS are
vital elements of his personal fishing success. He combines his talents to
create unique seminars that have helped thousands of anglers finally understand
and get the most out of their units, plus capitalize on today’s technology.
Entertaining as well as educational, his presentations are always highly
